I Design Stuff & Take Photos
I was at New Adventures in Web Design yesterday, and I have to say it was AMAZING. I took away so much from the day and I am incredibly thankful to Simon & everyone else involved for putting it together.
So during the course of the day I was surprised to notice a woman sitting and knitting so I tweeted about it.
I’m at a really strange place with photography right now. I feel very lost; I don’t know what I am doing or where I am going with it. It’s been bothering me for weeks — I don’t have any direction & people seem hell bent on making it into work for me. I didn’t get into photography for financial gain or acclaim. I got into it so I would have a free, relaxed, creative outlet outside of the design world in which I work. I am more than happy being a designer for my day job & I don’t feel I need or want photography to enter into that.
So last week, John & I got some (6) Dribbble invites. So to make our boring lives more interesting we forced people to entertain us by dangling the invites in front of them like a carrot on a stick!

Recently Kym & myself went on a bit of a coffee adventure, between us we toured 6 of the top ten independent coffee shops in the UK (as voted by Cosy Coffee Shops), plus a few extras for good measure. She has written up a hefty post detailing it all & I highly recommend you go and ready it, or at least look at all the pretty pictures!
