Everyone has their bed time rituals, some people even read… So some idiot thought it’d be a good idea to leave his camera battery charger at a friends house & completely forget that he needed it, then when he went out to shoot he switched his camera on he was greeted by a GIANT flashing red battery symbol! Now I’m not saying this was me — but it totally was. Crap. So anyway, I had to setup the shot, focus, balance the lighting, light temperature & meter without the use of my camera… good job I like a challenge. I got it setup as best I could, switched it on & manage to fire off six shots before I completely ran out of power. I think pretty much all I endup doing was dropping the ISO from 800 to 400. Not too shabby Rick.

Love the dramatic lighting for this one in particular. Though it reminds me how much I used to love reading at night, why did I ever stop?

It is so cool that you make these short videos and provide the lighting diagram. This is the first website where I see this. I’m a beginner and I just love to see how you got certain light effects. Thanx a ton
