Building myself a dedicated website for my photography portfolio has been on my to-do-list for a long time, last weekend it finally made it to the top. The aim for this site was not to replace my Flickr stream, but to run alongside it. Flickr is great, but it’s very hard for someone to get a good all round feel of your photography skills & style. This portfolio site will be kept up-to-date with my best/favourite photos.
Today I’ve launched a new site for Lincoln based photographer James Arnold, I know I know… working on Christmas day but it seemed like a good time to put the site live. You know, all you guys are probably sitting around, twiddling your thumbs, waiting for your mum/wife/girlfriend/mistress to cook your dinner, so you turn to the internet for entertainment and BAM you see a new site up! Genius right?
I noticed a spike in my traffic from the weekend & after a little investigation I found a whole bunch of inbound traffic from Line 25. Turns out I got featured in their Sites Of The Week for September 25th. Awesome — thanks for that, also thanks for using a picture of my ass in the post header image.
Ashley & I have just come to the end of Project50, this has consisted of 50 photos, over 50 days with a 50mm lens. I have done my P50 within/along side my ThreeSixFive, which has been pretty cool as it’s given a little direction & structure to the project (which it has been needing).
