2 — The Unforgiving Mirror
Day 2 – I consider myself a confident person. This is something that comes very easy in images and words — they can be heavily edited, and perfected. It’s harder with video, you have to be more consistently confident.
It’s been really interesting putting myself out there in a new medium, going back to the start with something. YouTube is notorious for being unforgiving. But I am really enjoying the new challenge. I’m building confidence with every new technique I learn, and every editing trick I pick up.
Also introducing my new vlogging set up. The Canon 6D Mk II may be the perfect camera to vlog with. It ticks so many boxes, flip out screen, full frame sensor, and dual pixel autofocus are just a few of the highlights. I team it up with my Canon 28mm 1.8 & the Rode VideoMic Pro.
Yesterday was a great day for Seven Days Of Self so many awesome shots, and different takes on the photos.

Behind The Scenes
Absolutely loving the 5D Mk IV. For a camera that looks identical to the Mk III, apart from 1 button on the back, it feels like a very worthy upgrade to the legendary 5D lineup.
