3 — Game of Thrones Cosplay – Fire and Blood
“Do you trust me?” – my wife said to me a couple of weeks ago… “Of course” I replied, “with everything but driving, money and cooking” I said under my breath. “Good” she explained “because I’ve planned the shit out of your next cosplay shoot.”
Friday was our 5 year anniversary, yes I’m impressed I’ve put up with her for that long too. On the Friday morning, I received a large plastic dragon and a laminated schedule for the day, which included a mysterious postcode. Some hours later we arrived at a Gothic Manor, and were lead up to the King’s Chambers.
At this point, my Batman detective skills kicked in, we were doing a Game of Thrones shoot.
Thanks Spadgeykins, you’re my favourite.

The Location
The room made the perfect backdrop for this shoot, with its opulent styling and gothic details you immediately felt like you'd been thrown back in time.

The Iron Throne Bed

The Setup
I'm still loving my Rapid Box for my key light, it's got great light control, and super smooth diffusion.
Mother of Dragons
Our Khaleesi body double was very useful for setting up lighting.
