AnyForty Vandalz Capsule Collection Lookbook — Autumn 2016
When Al from AnyForty schedules an outdoor location lookbook shoot at the end of October there is always a little bit of dread in the back of your mind. Especially when there is constant rain in the week up to the shoot. Fortunately we lucked out on the weather and the location. We shot at the Nomadic Community Gardens, […]
AnyForty Pride Refix Collection — Spring 2016
In January, AnyForty head honcho, Al came to me wanting to run an idea by me — “I wonder if I could make a range work by getting a group of artists to do their own take on the Pride graphic”. “Hell yes” I told him. In March I headed up to Mayfield Studio, Newcastle to hang out with the AnyForty family and shoot that range.
Light Painted Nissan 350z Drift Car for SJB Garage
I’ve always had a soft spot for the Fairlady, right back to the 1970s Datsun 240z. This tidy Nissan 350z is no exception. It’s a street driven drift car owned and built by my friend Sean. I offered to shoot his car for him so he had a cover image for his upcoming car check video — this week we made that happen.
Light Painting The V8 Audi S5
On Sunday night I lost my automotive light painting virginity with this V8 Audi S5! The shot is comprised of 20+ 30 second long exposures. During each exposure I light painted a section of the car, slowly working my way round until I’d covered all the lines.
Braver Than Britain, Occasionally
At the very end of last year my lady & I were at the cabin. It’s while we were there that a very unassuming spider set Spadge off on a new challenge — facing Britain’s top ten fears all while writing a book about it.
AnyForty — Art Is Our Weapon Lookbook
Recently I shot AnyFory’s latest Lookbook for their new range entitled “Art Is Our Weapon”. I can’t think of a more suitable name for this seasons designs.
Honest Thomas — Mechanic turned Artisan Maker
For a while I’ve been following Honest Thomas on Instagram — drooling over his hand made products. On Sunday Bandit & I finally made the trip up to West Yorkshire to hangout with the man himself & his Plumber Terrier, Our Judd.
Growl & Grandeur — Summer 2015 Lookbook
With summer fast (sarcasm) approaching it was time to do another shoot for UK based streetwear brand, Growl & Grandeur. I headed over to Nottingham to meet up with G&G big-wig Collin. He’d scoped out an awesome location, The Pit Studio, where we met up with models Courtney Lloyd & Natasha Kalashnikova.
I don’t shoot many weddings, two-three a year tops. But when your girlfriend is one (of the two) Maids of Honour, exceptions get made.
Towards the end of last year I was approached to do some promo product photography for some brand-new wearable tech. The campaign brief consisted of 3 product shots, worn by models in different locations. Sounds simple right? There was a catch… Both the product and the locations didn’t actually exist. The product, called The Link band, is […]
