Me? Ermmm… What do you wanna know? I'm a Graphic Designer/Web Designer/User Interface Designer/Geek, pretty self destructive, I like cats, tattoos, cameras, generally antisocial but if you catch me on the right day I might try and be nice to you. I take a HUGE amount of photographs, I even put some of them on my Flickr, & I am currently trying to kill myself with my third Project 50. You should follow me on Twitter & send me some thing nice by email — hi@ricknunn.com.
My Fifty of Fifty adventure, aka Project 50, — 50 days, 50 photos with a 50mm lens. Simple concept but to actually complete this project at a reasonable standard takes some serious dedication, personal motivation, oh & good friends help too. View the whole project here & you should be following me on flickr too — duh!
January 19th 2012 brought with it with the second New Adventures In Web Design conference. I attended with Ashley “I’m A Secret Lesbian” Baxter — always fun to hangout with her. Expectations were high after last years success but, for me, this year surpassed last years by a mile. I took a lot away from the day, not least that we work, live & play in one of the most exiting industries ever #fact!
Sarah & I took the short trip over to Sherwood Forest last Sunday to play in the trees & have a picnic. It was awesome. The light couldn’t have been any more perfect. Check out the mass of photos in this post.
Yesterday after work I shot over to Leeds to see bad boy photographer Jordan Green, with him being down in Farnham most of the time now we don’t get to hang out so much but it’s always nice to see him. He dragged out his friend Katie & we played with lights & took some photos in 600 mph winds — challenging.
This weekend I did a 600(ish) mile round trip up to Glasgow to see Ashley, I’d owed her a visit for a little while & finally managed to make time for the 5 hour drive north. The weather wasn’t kind to us, I’m not scared of a little rain but I think I spent more time soaked to the bone than dry… it messed up our plans a little but we still had a lot of fun (as per usual).
