1 — Harley Quinn Cosplay — I’m Bored, Play With Me
It’s been over a year since I last did any sort of photo for a project, so I think we can all agree that it’s way past due. In fact I’m mostly doing a new project so my wife will stop bugging me about it…
Looking back at the photos I’ve enjoyed the most over the past few years, a theme seemed immediately obvious — cosplay. Over the next year you can look forward to twelve cosplay themed photoshoots, complete with all the usual behind the scenes action.
Spadgerina very kindly “volunteered” to be in my first photo, in fact she’d already started putting together a Harley Quinn – Suicide Squad inspired costume before I’d committed to doing another photo project. If her plan was to convince me to go through with it, it worked. I’ve also been pestered relentlessly by some people to revisit the Quotos that I started back in 2009, game on.
Spadge really nailed the costume, she also found it disturbingly easy to nail Harley’s psychosis too… all I had to do was find a location, light it, shoot it, record my lighting, edit, edit some more, design some type, and put a post together… why did I say yes to doing this again?
