I’ve recently made friends with some of the guys from G-Technology. Which is especially cool since I’ve been a long time fan of their products — they seriously make the best looking hard drives ever. It’s been awesome to meet these guys & get a feel for the what they are doing in Europe at the moment…  oh & eat hot dogs with them.

Seeing how committed they are to supporting the creative community has been really refreshing — an attitude I wish more companies would adopt. One of the guys recently pushed me in the direction of their Driven Creativity competition, which rewards not only the aesthetics of the entries the entries but also the innovation behind them.

The competition is open to short films, animations, GoPro movies, photography & music & the overall winner walks away with €5,000 to put towards their next creative endeavour. Plus a shiny new G-DOCK ev (Damn I want one of them so bad!).
